Map to Meeting/Banquet

Although you do not have to be a member to join in the racing fun, being a member has its advantages.  All members will receive a membership card, monthly newsletter, and periodic announcements.

In addition, racing members have additional opportunities to:

*  Accumulate Points
-   For additional season awards
-   Point leaders get their picture on next year's t-shirt
*  Set local and national records
*  Run for office (elections held at the annual meeting )
*  Vote on important issues

If you wish to accumulate points with a partner under the car number rather than individually, list your partner here.  This accumulation will be set for the season and cannot be changed.  Membership is required for each individual in the partnership.

There are three ways to join the NWSCA:

1.      By mail - send a $25 check or money order  payable to the NWSCA to :

2041 Center St. NE
Salem, OR  97301

Include your name, address, and telephone number.  If you are not a current member and plan to race next season, please include your 1st and 2nd number choices for your race vehicle.  If your requested numbers are not available, a number will be assigned by the association.

2.    At the annual meeting .

3.    On race day.  See the schedule for a listing of race dates.

Membership is from January to January.  Membership will not be prorated for individuals joining prior to the final race in September.  Membership applications received after the final race of the season will be applied to the next year's membership.

An annual rules/membership meeting is held at the beginning of each season.   This meeting is to allow members to discuss potential changes in the race schedule and/or rules, in addition to electing new officers.

The 2002 annual rules/membership meeting will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2002, starting at 10 a.m.   The meeting will be held at the Keizer Elks, 4250 Cherry Ave. N., Keizer, Oregon.  A map is provided below.

An annual awards banquet is held each year to honor our season winners.  Since many individuals travel some distance to attend the annual meeting, the banquet is generally held in the evening following the rules meeting.  This year's banquet will be held at the Keizer Elks.

More information to follow regarding the time and dinner prices.
